The What and Why of History

History is found all around us. From the mathamatical equations we need to do a homework assignment, to our family tree; there is a historical story behind it. Finding out these stories can be challenging but can also be fun!

History is learned differently and perceieved differently by each person. Professional Historians are able to follow a chronological timeline in order to find out about history. Profesional Historians usually have a specific part they are researching such as a certain time in history (1500 for example). Non Historians (learning for college) often look at history as a whole and not a certain period.

History has always been interesting to me, but I have never sat back and thought how everything has its own history. To me that is so interesting.
